Easy Garlic Lemon Pasta
- pasta of your choice (last night mine was rotini)
- olive oil
- one large clove of garlic, peeled & smashed with the flat of a knife
- kalamata olives, pitted & halved
- half a lemon
- grated parmesan
Boil pasta until al dente; drain and return to pan.
Drizzle with olive oil and turn on lowest flame.
Add garlic and toss.
Add olives and squeeze lemon over; toss.
Remove from heat, sprinkle generously with parmesan, and savor.
That does sound good! I believe I'm going to have to make it.
easy and yummy. i love lemons…and olives…and olive oil….and garlic…and pasta. i think i'll make this tonight. there's a nice ripe lemon in the backyard.
Mmmmmm, yummy. I think I shall have to ask my Love to make some one night this week!
I like this (minus the olives). I'll have to give it a try!
Yeah, I don't see Andrew taking kindly to the olives :-)
YUM!
mmm. yes i'll take one please. no olives. thanks.
This sounds like a dish that I make…but I usually add crushed red pepper, fresh parsley and sun dried tomatoes. And if I planned ahead, I've also added sauteed shrimp or chicken breast.
Now I'm hungry….and I'm watching the Biggest Loser. What a weird contradiction.
i'm waitress-retarded in the kitchen–i'm great at presentation, but terrible at anything constructive in the pots and pans. BUT! i totally made your recipe, although with a kalamata tapenade rather than just olives, added salmon, and a side of broccoli, and it was good! it was easy, and apparently very hard to ruin. :) thanks for the tip!
